Carrier Corporation, a leading name in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) has important resources in DeWitt, including its main engineering and design campus. Hanson Aggregates North America has long operated the Jamesville limestone quarry.
The city of Syracuse lies only about ten minutes away, giving Jamesville residents a short and safe commute. Thousands of people are employed by Upstate University Health, Syracuse University, and St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. Wegmans is the biggest retail brand.
